Switch was introduced to the elements of Hip Hop when he was professionally rollerblading back in 1998. He fell in love with the art of breaking and was the co-founder of one of Johannesburg's first crews, the Static B-Boys.

He then moved on to DJing and has been involved in the industry for over four years. His passion for turntables was born after experiencing DJ Ready D in the mix. DJ Azhul and Ready D from the BeatBangers on the Cape Flats gave Switch his introduction to DJing and he picked up extra skills from DJ C-live from JHB cause, who was a member Switch's B-Boy crew.

Switch has constantly been developing his skills by taking part in DJ contests and entertaining at music festivals, clubs and house parties.

Keeping B-Boying alive and kicking in South Africa, Switch has been heavily involved in organising the National 2on2 Battles.

Also a TV presenter on Big Yo and a member of Red Bull Street Style, Switch truly is the perfect all round package as the host for the Red Bull BC One South African Qualifier.
