Cheslyn Meyer hails from Schaudersville in Port Elizabeth, forming part of the city’s Nervous Breakdown crew. Punted as a wild card in the event, Cheslyn hasn't won any titles as yet, and has only participated in 2-on-2 battles in the past.

"The scene is quite core here in Port Elizabeth and there are few chances to battle in actual competitions," he says. "I'm looking forward to showing the rest of the country what the Eastern Cape Hip Hop community has to offer!"

Cheslyn's battle strategy is to keep things at a simmer, starting out slow and boiling over near the end, pulling out his power moves and outshining the competitor. With his emphasis on hot, fancy footwork and coastal flavour, Cheslyn is definitely one to watch!
