PUNISHER is hardcore. Think: 70s Metal style meets extreme B-Boying. He has a dark approach to his B-Boy persona, one that is commonly found in the Heavy Metal music that he dances to and in which he is entrenched.

His name comes from the original version of the film, “The Punisher” whose main character was an anti-hero, crime fighting vigilante. PUNISHER is influenced by and models himself after this comic book character’s attitude, determination and bravery.

A mysterious character in real life as well, PUNISHER released an online trailer, in 2009, featuring his dancing. Reportedly, there were rumors that he had died! This trailer heralded his come back.

PUNISHER began B-Boying at the age of 12, first embracing power moves to which he remains dedicated. Most of all he is attracted to unique B-Boying style and execution. In a battle, PUNISHER relies heavily on improvisation, difficult moves and extreme training. is goal is to combine these components to win over the crowd. The support from the audience motivates him to “punish” his opponent. As a rule, PUNISHER never shows that he made a mistake in a battle.

PUNISHER’s influences include B-Boy Benny and his brother Demon, as well as artists such as Trivium, Jetblack, Hurricane, and Victory. He identifies mostly with old school B-Boys, explaining, “They didn’t care what people thought, they were creating their own style. I create my own style, too. You like me or you hate me. I don’t dance to please people. I stay true to myself and my style.”

His passion for playing guitar in the Rock and Metal genres equals his passion for dancing. He even began putting a band together and intends to integrate dancing in this context. PUNISHER also enjoys snowboarding and training alone in the mountains, where he is able to focus, finding himself and his energy.

In 2006, PUNISHER made a World Record for most 1990’s (a continuous pirouette standing on one hand). One of his most memorable accomplishments is completing the first ever one handed airflare at the 2007 Evolution battle in Miami. PUNISHER appears in the Battle of the Year (BOTY) DVDs of 2002 and IBE. He makes his living by teaching dance classes to youth 9 years and older in Annecy, France and surrounding areas.

PUNISHER hopes to captivate the judges with his personality and style while surprising them with the most extreme moves. He wants to impress upon them his “outer limits” approach to the dance that conveys no limitations in his repertoire. PUNISHER considers himself the “best power mover!”

He is grateful to have been recognized as a contender and invited to battle in the RED BULL BC ONE 2009. PUNISHER is thankful that he is being rewarded for his efforts. He looks forward to traveling to NYC to experience this great and legendary city.
