On the last season of primary school 2002, I performed my first show with no prior knowledge from a dance studio only a raw admiration for music.

As far back as I can remember dancing was always my best quality passed down from my grandfather who in his last years, made it on a TV show Voorblad also he had the chance to work with Nico Carstens.

I went to my first studio for Break-dancing in 2003. I then joined my crew in 2004, we went on to represent Johannesburg at Battle of the Year ‘04 where we placed 4th in South Africa.

We started out in a club called Demolition in 2000. Demolition Squad is now a crew of 8 Bboy's. 6 of which are the leading competitors in Johannesburg.
The crew has been growing in the years in recognition as one of the founding crew in Johannesburg. Our main focus is to stay the pioneers of the Break-dance industry in Johannesburg. To represent our country in International competitions. To do so with the means necessary to meet our performance in the best conditions. The founders are B*boy Dix, Willy B, Chris Jones, Christos and Seb meeting up at a hip-hop club called Demolition, where they found unity in their love for hip-hop and street culture.

Our inspiration is to raise the view of Breaking as well to inspire the movement further

Later in 2003 joined Lab*A Following Lamas in 2005 2008 Sparkz, Dizz1, Dream, Stix and B Pride all joined.
