jaemo05 aka SyqDuq

It all began around 1982 is a little town south of Oakland, California called Newark. He was raised amongst Hip-Hop from an early age of six and by 1984 he began the ongoing evolution and generation of b-boying. jaemo recalls his early years practicing with the Tri-Cities (Newark, Fremont, Union-City) with a crew called RockForce. It was on the recess yard at Warrick Elementary School where he would polish up on his fresh backspins and stylized floor and up-rocks. He was only eight when he consistently wore out the cardboard that he "barrowed" from in back of Alpha-Beta Grocery Stores. It was in these first few year that Hip-Hop would be forever embedded into his chromosomes. By the age of 12 jaemo would go on to be greatly influence by the likes of Doug-E-Fresh and the Getfresh Crew, RUN-DMC, Afrika-Bambaataa, Slick-Rick, Def Jeff, and tons of other musicians specific to the late 80's.

Soon after he began dabbling in Graffiti and was priviledged to have had such influences as Lord Awol, Lord Pashe, Dopr, Icon, Dee, King157, Lady Shen, krs and so on. While refining his art skills he later became intrigued with Turntablism which included him attending several shows and being surrounded by artists such as Dj D-Styles, Q-Bert, Beatjunkies, Invsibl Skratch Piklz and many others. Of the 4 Elements MC'ing was the last to enter into jaemo's repertoire. He used to freestyle for several years, and after joing the Marine Corps in 1996 he formed a unique group labeled Uncyvlyzd.

During the ages of 15-21, jaemo grew up in the Central Valley where he would sharpen his Elements, all four, and he would re-emerge his love for b-boy. He was putting long hours of practice and collecting as many videos, which were scarce at the time, to polish his b-boy moves. He practiced with B-Boy Ivan "Urban Action Figure", B-Boy Crumbs, and several other dope b-boys from around the way. He participated in several joint crew ventures including, Thee Unique Freaks and Muchkins Crew, to Ground Zero.

After jaemo did several years in the Marine Corps, he returned to his roots and settled in Modesto, Caliornia. He began networking and gathering contacts and re-igniting contacts that make him who he is today. Although he still posesses skills, jaemo these days gives back to the Hip-Hop community by throwing several competitions a year with the help of his allies including, Hocus, Cob@lt, Ikabod-Bum and several others in the local area. He has never forgotten what made him and he always produces positive movements to the Hip-Hop Community.
