Clynton Maubrey-Smith, known to most as Chopstix, hails from Jozi and is considered one of the foremost B-Boys in the city.

Clynton coined his name from his incredibly tall height – far from the norm for an aspirant B-Boy. When pulling flares, spectators said his "two long legs looked just like a set of chopsticks," and the name stuck.

Chopstix’s personal style relies a lot on his technicality, since using merely style and footwork is challenging for someone as tall as this breaker. "My height has always been an issue for other people, but never for me," Clynton says. "I’ve used it to my advantage – almost scaring my opponents into submission."

Clynton is pegged as one of the stiffest competitors from the Gauteng region, and should provide for some lofty entertainment on the night.
