B-Boy Mukaide with his fast and original moves has been chosen to represent the Fukui-Ishikawa region (5 hrs NW of Tokyo). The scene here has been developing steadily in the past few years and Mukaide is one of the best of them! He has his own unique style but is careful to be true to the basics.

How would you describe your style?
I try to be loose and go with the flow.

Why did you want to start dancing yourself?
I saw Ken Swift and was really inspired by him.

What other interests do you have?
I DJ in my free time.

What are the goals you want to reach in life?
I want to represent Japan in overseas events.

Do you plan to make a living on dancing or do you have other plans as well?
Of course, I want to stay in dancing, but if given the chance, I would like to try being a music producer - songwriting, arrangements, etc.

How is the scene in your hometown or in your country in general?
The B-Boy scene here is growing, but more of the skilled and active dancers need to lead the way.

What do you expect of the Red Bull BC One?
As I rep for the Fukui area, I do not want to let anybody down. I will give my best and go full power!
