Dmitri Nell, known as B-Boy Meaty Steps, hails from Eerste Rivier in Cape Town and forms part of the Hand Brake Turn crew. He started B-Boying in 1999, and has participated in numerous breaking events around the country, mostly notably winning the African Battle in 2005.

Steps describes his style as "fresh, original and strictly Cape Flats," and attributes his attitude to the friends he made when he first entered the scene in 1999.

"I can’t wait to show the world what Africa has to offer, Steps says. “Our B-Boying is such an incredible form of expression."
