Felix

Felix started off in the aggressive in-line skating scene in Singapore at the age of 13. He started to transition into B-Boying in August 1999, when he was 18. Soon after that, he was recruited into Singapore's pioneering B-Boy crew, Radikal Forze.

Radikal Forze is Singapore’s premier B-Boy crew and consists of three generations of B-Boys, including Aldrin, East, Jude, Raymond, Ivan, Troy, Farhan, Felix, Boy, and Faiz.

Being a part of Radikal Forze opened doors to many event showcases, media advertisements, newspaper interviews, and recognition. By late 2000, Felix was already one of Singapore's most respected B-Boys. Having the opportunity to further his studies in Sydney, Australia, in 2004, he was able to experience a different B-Boy scene and culture. Soon after his arrival, he was already teaching at dance schools and several youth centres.

Within the 2 years there, he not only made a huge impact on the scene in Sydney, but in other states as well. It was in Sydney where he joined the international $7 Crew. But only in August 2005, when he visited New York for the 28th Rock Steady Anniversary, was he able to feel the true essence, rawness, and vibe from where the dance had originate. Learning from masters of the dance like Break-Easy & Ken Swift, he was able to further improve his basics and foundations. He also took part in the crew battles with his international crew, $7 Crew and learned a great deal just by battling.

His credits include countless road-shows/events showcases all across Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The showcases performed by him together with his crew, also include most major clubs in Singapore, mainly Zouk. Felix has also been interviewed by Sydney's major newspaper, The Sydney Morning Herald. He was also cast as a dancer in the movie “Son of the Mask” which was filmed in Sydney. He also did the opening act for international rap artists Methodman, Redman, Rahzel, DJ Kool at the “Buggin” Tour in Sydney.

Upon graduating from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor in Computer Science, Felix has returned to Singapore and has made his presence felt once more in the local B-Boy scene. He strives to improve the B-Boy scene in Singapore to his fullest abilities, and never stops pushing himself to be a better B-Boy, and to learn more about the culture.
