Neguin, whose real name is Fabiano Lopez, lost out to Bruce Almighty in the quarter-finals this year with Japanese sensation Issei eventually getting the better of BC One legend Hong 10 in the dramatic final.
The 29-year-old, who won the world final back in 2010, has travelled the world as a dancer for artists like Madonna, Jennifer Lopez and Justin Timberlake.
He said, “I am part of Super Cr3w and we have our upcoming show with JLo in January and February. I do a lot of stuff with Cirque du Soleil too. It is important as a B-Boy that you be in the competition but you can also work your path in different ways.
“Besides dancing, I am an artist, I make music and a DJ. I do a lot of different stuff that keeps inspiring me.”
After missing the last two world finals in Paris and Rome, Neguin jumped at the chance to try and regain his old crown.
He revealed, “When I got invited originally, there were no Brazilians or South Americans (Leony joined the world final line-up later) so I had to represent my country and where I come from.
“I travel all over the world with different stuff, so it was good to come back and show I can do it.
“I was inspired to be battling Bruce Almighty, because we are good friends. It was a special battle. I thought I won for a second, but it was his night tonight.
“Maybe I’ll be back next year. I will think about it. I was really prepared to go to the final and deliver something, so maybe I save it for next year and incorporate it then.”
