Cyber

The art of creating music by just using your vocal cords is an exceptional talent, one which 19 year old Beat Boxer Cyber possesses.

His career started in London at the tender age of fourteen where he was introduced to the genre of beat boxing. Practicing for a year on his own, he developed an original style untainted by the commercial scene.

Entering his first contest “King of the Jam” he walked away with the title and caught the attention of Blade, one of the biggest names in beat boxing. From there, he was invited to join Blade on tour for two years where he gained invaluable experience.

Now back in South Africa and living in Johannesburg, Cyber has been working closely with one of South Africa's Hip Hop pioneers, Shaimane. "Push", Cyber’s first single due for release in South Africa and Europe, features Ready D, Blade, Skinny Man, and Root Manoeuvre.

His technique and method of sound creation will be one of the elements showcased at the Red Bull BC One 2007.
