Nyrov Aslanbek Vladimirovich aka BOO2ZZ is a member of the famous Russian newcomer crew “Predatorz.” He is one of the top B-Boys of Eastern Europe and the winner of the “RED BULL BC ONE in Russia Qualifer 2006/2007” 1 on 1 battle. His style is a perfect mix of powermoves, toprocks and high-quality footwork. BOO2ZZ is a natural crowd pleaser.

In 1999, BOO2ZZ saw the “Super Sonic” video by Music Instructor and that was the first time he saw breaking. The energy of the dance attracted him and he knew he wanted to challenge himself by learning this incredible dance. BOO2ZZ says it takes two ingredients to become a good B-Boy: Hard practice and a love of dance.

His crew, Predatorz, is everything to him, his heart and soul. The crew always comes before the individual. They are his biggest inspiration. Apart from them, he was inspired by Storm of Battle Squad, I-One of Universal, and Crumbs of Style Elements.

BOO2ZZ comes from a small city near the Caucasus. His main goal in life is to be the best B-Boy he can. He would love to make a living through dancing, though he knows that this is practically impossible in Russia. Although the Hip Hop scene is growing fast, just as in the rest of the world, breaking still isn’t accepted as an art form in Russia and people look down on it. BOO2ZZ wants to promote breaking in Russia so the dance can get the appreciation and support it deserves.

In 2004, the Predatorz won the Battle of the Year in Russia. They were supposed to compete at the International Battle of the Year in Germany, but the German embassy refused to give them a visa. The guys were really disappointed and angry and though it was bitter cold, the crew danced the whole show they had choreographed for the Battle of the Year in front of the German embassy in Moscow!

BOO2ZZ comes from an area where men are naturally brought up to be tough guys and manly characters, so he is a really tough fighter. He will go into the RED BULL BC ONE as into every other battle: battling to win!

BOO2ZZ is competing in the RED BULL BC ONE for the second time this year and for him it’s a possibility to analyze how much experience he gained within the last year and what he learned from the previous RED BULL BC ONE in Sao Paulo. He really appreciates having a second chance and will do his best and show everything he has.

He will battle with a different strategy this year. Last year, he says, he was holding back because he wanted to show his best moves in the final round, but he learned that in the RED BULL BC ONE, when you are battling the best B-Boys of the world, you cannot hold back—you have to give your everything right from the start!
