One of the busiest DJs on the U.S. B-Boy/B-Girl scene, DJ DP ONE might rock as many as three events a day, zipping to and from battles and clubs in his home town of New York City.
Born in a very legendary year for Hip Hop culture; 1977, in Brooklyn, it is no surprise that he is not sure when he first witnessed Hip Hop. He was born into it!
I met RED BULL BC ONE judge SALAH at the Battle of the Year in Brunswick last weekend and he found the time to answer a couple of questions. For more information and SALAH's comments on how he judges a battle, check out his profile!
NEW YORK, NY --(October 9, 2009)—The Red Bull BC One is coming alive and kickin’ it this year with a line-up that won't stop. Eleven different flags will be represented by sixteen of the baddest dancers on the planet.
B-Boy #13 is KOLOBOK from the Ukraine. 2009, will be his second year battling in the RED BULL BC ONE. Last year, he battled in Paris, which was a lot of fun and a “huge” experience for him. KOLOBOK is very excited about this year’s event and can’t wait to visit New York.
We feel with all of you who really wanted to come, but couldn't get a ticket. We are really sorry! But you will all be able to watch the battles afterwards here on this site.
Peace
