On April 8 I landed in Guatemala City. I got picked up at the airport by one of the lovely Wings from Red Bull Guatemala (that's what they call the Red Bull girls here) in a little Red Bull Mini. We drove straight to the beach to Guatemala’s annual XL Beach Party, organized by Ron XL in Puerto San José. The Red Bull crew had organized graf writers and B-Boys for the event. Great Party, cool graf, great B-Boys and hey, drinks were free!
The next day I went to Antigua to shoot photos of the Easter processions. Wow that was amazing! They make beautiful "carpets" of flowers and colored sand that then get walked over and destroyed by the processions – ephemeral art, just like graffiti.
