The Red Bull BC One is over! It was as exiting as ever and we feel honored to have been part of it again.

After the battle we met with the B-Boys at the afterparty at REX. After all the tension of the last days, the party was needed to relax and calm down.

Thanks to all the B-Boys and the organizers and thanks to the audiance in the arena and on the screen.

We are awfully sorry that there were some problems with the website during the event. We will work on these problems to make sure everything runs smootly next year!

Wow! What a battle! With Ronnie leaving in the first round and Lil Ceng surprising us big time! Wing, winner of the Circle King Finals 4 days ago in Lausanne, is the winner of the Red Bull BC One! With his endless patterns of dazzling moves he surprised and convinced the judges and audience alike. The final was dominated by the Asians, with Wing from Korea battling against Taisuke from Japan.

Tonight's the Night!!!!
Who's gonna take the crown this year?
The B-Boys are practicing and resting for the big battle tonight. We'll sneak in and out of the practice space and let you know what's up.

Last night we met Manuela and Sarah of Figure du Style. They are the 2 amazing B-Girls who won the We B*Girlz Battle at Battle Of The Year in October!

This morning at breakfast we tried to find out about the breakfast of the champions.... mostly cereal and fruit....

Not much happening in the practice space. The B-Boys are all in the zone, mentally preparing for the big battle. The only one moving is Storm's little boy Shan.

Who battles whom in the first round! That's what we all wanted to know! Around 6pm, the B-Boys were led into the battle area, where Raakaa the host, introduced the judges. After Extremo, Hong 10, Storm, Lilou and Ivan explained to the B-Boys what they will be looking for in the battle, Lilou brought up the question about the finals.

In 2005 in Berlin Lilou had insisted they battle 5 rounds in the finals, so he thought that should be standard at the Red Bull BC One. The other judges did not agree, they thought that it would be a better idea, to let them battle 3 rounds again, then give them a little time to catch their breath to then go into a final last round.

The B-Boys decided to vote. Therer were 3 options: - 4 rounds with a break before the last round - 4 rounds without a break - 5 rounds

The dancers voted for 4 rounds without the break!

After that was settled, the time had come to announce the battle pairs! Raakaa called them on stage, pair after pair, where they shook hands. Each pairing was greeted with applause. So here comes what ya'll have been waiting for - battling in the first rounds:

We just got back from the venue. We all walked over for an inspection of the floor and a rehearsal. The guys tried out the floor and found a little imperfection on it which will be fixed before tomorrow. The floor, I think, is made of wood - not black diamond as somebody mentioned earlier - but we'll investigate more.

The B-Boys and judges had to run through the whole programm, so they know when they have to be where tomorrow. At the moment they have the media conference and we'll run back to the venue soon, to be there when they will announce the battle pairs for the first rounds! We'll give you an update right away then! So damn exiting - like the elections in the US! Let's hope they do the right thing.
