Hey B-Girls!

We are really happy that more and more B-Girls show up on the map and more and more B-Girls create a profile here on the website. We are going to have a website relaunch soon with lots of more options, turning this website into a real social platform for B-Boys and B-Girls.

The Qualifiers are over. 5 B-Boys battled their way into the final in Moscow. Each and every one of the Qualifiers turned out to be an amazing event! Lots of you guys had the chance to join us at one or the other Cypher or Qualifier event this year and we hope you enjoyed watching your local heroes compete for a spot in the Red Bull BC One in Russia.

The last two Red Bull BC One qualifiers yesterday in Brazil and Taiwan were won by two Red Bull BC One veterans. Lil G from Venezuela took the battle in Brazil in the final against local hero Kapu and Taisuke from Japan won against Blue from Korea.

The last two qualifiers of this year are about to go down! Who’s it gonna be going to the finals in Moscow from the qualifiers in Brazil and Taiwan? Here in Taiwan all eyes are on B-Boy Taisuke as he for sure will want to make up for unexpectedly losing early on in Tokyo last year. But the other B-Boys are also strong and hungry and anything can happen at the Red Bull BC One!

Today was a day of photo and video shoots, of hanging out, studying scripts and getting into the groove. Tomorrow we will check out the venue. We’ll keep you guys updated!

A week after winning the World B-Boy Classic in Rotterdam with Hurricane Ray, El Niño took out all his opponents in the Red Bull BC One Chicago Qualifier. More than 2,000 people stormed to Chicago's Aragon Ballroom to witness 16 B-Boys battle it out. The line at the box office started hours before the event and lasted throughout the night until the venue was sold out despite Chicago's sweltering heat. Record temperatures of 100+ degrees did nothing to damper the crowd's energy as sporadic B-Boy cyphers broke out before the event began.

Boston's El Niño is headed to Russia to represent the United States in the Global Finals in November.
