Liiiiiiilouuuuuu!!!

The event was amazing! It was definitely one of the best Red Bull BC One’s ever. The host of course was da bomb, the side acts were great and DJ DP One was playing dope tracks for the dancers. I really loved each and every battle and especially the final. Cloud has an amazing style and Lilou just rocked the floor! Well, I knew he would win if there was a chance to take another belt home! Congrats Lilou! You deserved it! I really feel last night the Red Bull BC One wrote B-Boy history! Character and style clearly dominated power and that might change the future of B-Boying – what do you think?

The crowd was great too. They had a crazy energy! Cats were jumping off their seats half the time and that’s what made the event so extraordinary! I especially loved that the New Yorkers really cheered on the little guy in the “I’m Muslim - Don’t Panic!” T-Shirt.

I had a great time tweeting with DJ Renegade, Hooch and Cros 1—thank you guys!!! —even though I totally freaked when Twitter shut us down due to too many updates in one hour – what the what?! That made me miss the semi-finals!!! Which is actually why just like you all, I can’t wait for the videos to be up!!!
We wanna thank you guys for all the great comments you wrote – we had fun and hope we could make it a little easier for you that you couldn’t be there with us.

One of the very memorable moments of the night for me was when Wing predicted Morris’ move and stole the end of his round by getting into the move with him and making it look like they were doing a routine. We were all arguing about that because as you know the judges are not supposed to count a move you throw when it’s not your round, but then—if you do it in such a very clever way and predict the move of your opponent—would we not count that as a very clever move? Well I know what my friend Ness would say! No, I’ll not tell you, check the book “The Art of Battle” and find out yourself.
