Red Bull BC One

The old Theater called Evgeni Mikeladze Performing Arts Centre at 127 Agmashenebeli ave. in Tbilisi was a perfect venue for the Red Bull BC One Cypher Caucasus. About 1000 people had come to see the strongest B-Boys of the region battle for a place in the Red Bull BC One Qualifier in St. Petersburg on August 4th.

The battles were really exiting and the atmosphere was great! The audience was totally hyped! DJ Grotask and MC Samori kept them going!

There were 5 B-Boys from Azerbaijan, 5 B-Boys from Armenia, and 6 B-Boys form Georgia in the Battle. In the end, the same two contestants as last year made it to the finals, B-Boy KillaJazz from Azerbaijan vs. B-Boy Pioneer from Georgia. KillaJazz took the title home for the second year in a row and will represent the Caucasus region in the Qualifier in Russia.

Roxrite stated, “Killa Jazz had more variety, he played with the music more, he brought out more fresh tricks. Pioneer had a good stage presence, good energy, some good moves as well, but he started repeating, going back to he same moves. A loss is not really a loss; it is more like a victory, because you learn how to win. When you lose you understand what you did wrong in the battle, go home, study your battle and come back harder the next time.”

Pioneer said he was planning to work on improving, “The guys from Azerbaijan have more experience, they train more, go to other battles more. It is our problem that we do not take part in other events, but in future we will try to go to other battles more often.”

KillaJazz closed with the words, “It was the second time I became Caucasus champion. I defended my title. This time I will go to St. Petersburg to show B-Boys from other countries that the guys from the Caucasus region are tough and hot! For the second time I met Pioneer in the finals, he is a really great B-Boy, he was the first in Georgia and still he is one of the best.

ევგენი მიქელაძის სახელობის საშემსრულებლო ხელოვნების ცენტრი აღმაშენებლის 127–ში მართლაც რომ იდეალური ადგილი იყო Red Bull BC One-ის კავკასიის შესარჩევი ეტაპის ჩასატარებლად. კავკასიის ყველაზე ძლიერი ბი–ბოების საგულშემატკივროდ, რომლებიც Red Bull BC One Qualifier–ზე გასასვლელად იბრძოდნენ, ათასამდე ადამიანი შეიკრიბა. დიჯეი გროტასკის და MC სამორის დახმარებით პუბლიკა ძალიან ატიურობდა, რაც არაჩვეულებრივ ატმოსფერომ ქმნიდა დარბაზში და ამხნევებდა მონაწილეებს - ესენი იყვნენ 5 ბი–ბოი აზერბაიჯანიდან, 5 ბი–ბოი სომხეთიდან და 6 ბი–ბოი საქართველოდან.
 
2012 წლის ფინალი ისეთივე აღმოჩნდა, როგორც 2011 წელს - ფინალში ერთმანეთს შეხვდნენ ბი–ბოი killaJazz აზერბაიჯანიდან და ბი–ბოი Pioneer საქართველოდან. killaJazz სამშობლოში უკვე მეორედ დაბრუნდა გამარჯვებულის სტატუსით, და სწორედ ის წარადგენს კავკასიის რეგიონს შემდეგ ეტაპზე, რომელიც სანქტ-პეტერბურგში გაიმართება.
 
მსაჯმა ბი-ბოი Roxrite-მა თავის არჩევანს შემდეგი კომენტარი გაუკეთა: „killaJazz უფრო მრავალფეროვანი იყო, იგი უფრო მუსიკალურად ცეკვავდა, მან უფრო ახალი და მრავალფეროვანი მოძრაობები შემოგვთავაზა. Pioneer-ს ჰქონდა კარგი სასცენო გამოსვლა, კარგი ენერგია, კარგი მოძრაობები, მაგრამ იგი რამდენჯერმე გამეორდა. მაგრამ წაგებაც  გამარჯვებაა, რადგან ასე სწავლობ თუ როგორ მიხვიდე გამარჯვებამდე. როცა აგებ, მხოლოდ მაშინ იაზრებ, თუ რა გააკეთე არასწორედ, მიდიხარ სახლში, სწავლობ შენს შეცდომებს და შემდეგში უფრო მომზადებული ბრუნდები.“
 
ბი-ბოი Pioneer: „ აზერბაბიჯანელ ბი-ბოებს უფრო მეტი გამოცდილება აქვთ, უფრო მეტს ვარჯიშობენ, მეტ შეჯიბრში მონაწილეობენ. ეს ჩვენი პრობლემაა, რომ არ ვიღებთ მონაწილეობას სხვა შეჯიბრებში, მაგრამ მომავლისთვის ვეცდებით ეს გამოვასწოროთ და უფრო მეტ შეჯიბრში მივიღოთ მონაწილეობა.“
 
killaJazz: „ მე უკვე მეორედ გავხდი კავკასიის ჩემპიონი - მე დავიცავი ჩემი ტიტული. ამჯერად წავალ სანტ–პეტერბურგში, რომ ვანახო სხვა ქვეყნების ბი–ბოებს, თუ რა შეგვიძლია კავკასიელი ბი-ბოებს! უკვე მეორედ შევხვდი Pioneer-ს ფინალში, ის მართლაც მაგარი ბი–ბოია, იგი პირველია საქართველოში და მართლაც საუკეთესოა ქართველ ბი-ბოებს შორის.“
